The Landskronacarnival
Let’s call the pictures A, B, C etc.
In picture A, a guy is practicing walking on a line which is only one inch thick. The line is only a couple of feet above the water surface. He’s naked on the upper part of the body, whereas he’s wearing tights on the lower part. He makes a mistake and falls into the water. He moves back by hauling with his arms, and parts of his body in the water.
Picture B is taking place at the beach. I noticed one “station” that had a rope (around 3-4 feet above the ground) fastened between two objects. Here they’re performing different tricks (e.g. Jumping on their butts or strike a somersault)
Picture, C: The same beach.
Picture, D: As a little spot you can probably see a guy balancing on a line about 20-25 feet above the water. I happen to see when he loses his balance, but because he is attached to the line via a loop, he doesn’t fall into the water.
Picture E: Some are paddling canoe while others are pedalling a pedalo. This boat is rare, with its cover that protect from the rain and the sun. The water is filling a moat and it surrounds the castle.
Picture F: This is the water tower. From here, some people are performing B.A.S.E. Jumping. This is a very dangerous thing to do and many people die every year. They jump from a fixed object with parachutes designed specifically for rapid deployment.
Picture G: Dancing. The band that plays this evening is called “Lars-Kristerz”, as you probably can see behind the musicians. The dance-floor is crowded.
Picture H: This is the food market. Here is food from every corner of the world.
