“The Gift” by Shane O’Neill

Hello, dear Book Club members,

Today’s story called “The Gift” is written by Shane O’Neill. Here is what he writes about himself:

I am 45 years old and live in Waterford, Ireland. I have been writing since I was fifteen and wrote the first draft of Dark Messiah, a fantasy novel in one year at age 16 and rewrote it in my twenties. It has undergone several drafts before I self-published it. I spent two years writing Cain about seven years ago, including three months on research. I wrote Legacy in my late teens before rewriting it in my twenties and has undergone several drafts also.
I have been offered two mainstream publishing contracts and once had the same literary agent as the late fantasy author Terry Pratchett! I hope you enjoy my stories and look forward to your feedback.

So, please, write your comments, thoughts, vocabulary lists in the comments below. You can also write a comment about the book on the wattpad site and let the author know what you think. Fun, isn’t it?
